How to Prepare Your Metallic Sticker Artwork File

Custom printing metallic stickers is a great way to call attention to your brand. Here are some suggestions that will help you create eye-catching designs using any design software:  

• Create two layers in your file: one for CMYK and another for the mask layer. The mask layer is where you will indicate the metallic accents in your design.  
• Make sure that both layers align with one another. To ensure correct placement, you can download one of our print templates in your chosen file format.  
• Use light colors on the metallic areas. Gradients and semi–tones may not show up in darker colors. Also, lighter colors tend to reflect more light and make the design more striking.  
• Choose a sans serif font in 12 pt. or larger so that your brand name or message will stand out. Smaller font sizes may not be readable in the printed design.
