The Benefits of High-Quality Clear Label Printing

Create a clear label design that’s tailored to your brand and the product. Print square, rectangle, oval or circle sizes that will fit on the front and back of the container. Rounded corners on the square and rectangle labels give your design a sleek look and eases application on the edges.
More than 10 dimensions available for all four shapes. Some of the common sizes for each shape are:
- Square – 2” x 2” and 3” x 3” are recommended for smaller surface areas.
- Rectangle – 3” x 4”, 2” x 3” and 2” x 4” offer a wide range for widths.
- Circle – 2” x 2” is about the size of an Oreo cookie.
- Oval – 2” x 2.5” would fit on a mini jar but larger sizes such as 3” x 4” and 4” x 6” are also available.
Customize the background transparency and foreground color on your design. We can set up your file to have the correct white ink layers so your design’s colors come out accurately:
- Make everything transparent will make all parts of the label see-through. Recommended for labels with large text and typography-based designs.
- Make only the background clear means only the background will be clear, while all the text and images will have white ink to show the chosen color.
- Make white areas clear makes the white or colored images, background, and text transparent.
- Follow file settings means you’ve already set up the file to have white ink layers and don’t need us to apply any of the settings previously listed.
Looks and stays good as new even in extreme conditions. All available materials are waterproof and oil–resistant.
- White premium sticker paper is oil and water resistant. Perfect for products that will be temporarily stored in a refrigerator.
- BOPP variants are all waterproof and normally used on food and beverage products exposed to moisture and oil.
- Textured materials are normally seen on wine bottles. These last for 4 hours when submerged in an ice bucket.
Apply on a large set of items using a label gun. All clear labels come in 3” diameter rolls that fit most standard label guns. This format makes it easy to quickly apply your custom clear labels on quantities above 250.
How to Apply Clear Labels
Follow these steps to ensure a clean application of your label:
- Make sure the surface is clean before application. Use mild soap and warm water or a soft, clean cloth to remove any oil and dust on the container.
- Avoid touching the back of your labels so you don’t leave any fingerprints on that side. Use gloves if applying the labels by hand.
- When applying the clear label on a curved surface, apply it first on one side firmly and then wrap it over the curve tightly. This will prevent any creases or folds.
- To apply on a flat surface, start with one side firmly before gently pressing the rest of the label into place.
- Smoothen out the label once all sides are applied to remove any air bubbles beneath.
